WHO VISITS THE FESTIVAL: Our market research shows that a wide cross-section of the community visits the Timaru Festival of Roses. They come from all over the South Island, are family focused, generally middle to upper income, and are looking for gardening products, Christmas gifts, and new and inspiring ideas. Over 4000 people visited the festival last year and we hope to make that 5000+ this year, encompassing a broader section of the community. The Timaru Santa Parade also happens on Sunday 7th December so people are guaranteed to be out and about.

WHO CAN APPLY: To ensure exhibits meet our standards, we reserve the right of refusal and all sites will be allocated at the discretion of the organisers. The festival operates a Zero Waste Policy which stall holders are required to agree to.
FESTIVAL ADVERTISING: The Festival of Roses is extensively promoted throughout the Central South Island with advertising in major daily newspapers, radio networks, a variety of gardening and lifestyle magazines, direct mail promotions, social media and street signs/electronic billboards in Timaru.
